It’s been almost a week since we moved and we are making slow but steady progress. I try to tackle one project a night. Tuesday was organizing the medicine drawers/bins/collections that we seem to accumulate all over the place. We love our pills. Wednesday night was the closet. Paul finished his side in like 10 min and lets just say it took me a hours little longer than that. Last night was the bookcase. Im one of those crazy peoples that has to actually “organize” the books (thanks MOM) and so that one is going to take longer than a night.
I want to get things more “presentable” before I take some pics of the inside of the place to show off, but until then…you get moving pictures! Enjoy. I know your Friday is now complete.

Even though this weekend was kind of a whirlwind of boxes, trucks, driving, packing, unpacking and coordinating, I WAS able to snap a couple pictures here and there.
From inside the garage…its super dark but that big figure in the middle is a huge MOUND of boxes
From inside the ginormous Uhaul
This one cracks me up b/c all the guys are doing something and the girls are just standing there. And I was doing nothing taking a picture. Priorities.
Ummm where did everyone go?
How is this going to fit??? (On a side note, I don’t know if you can tell but that driveway is SUPER steep. I am STOKED SO to be done with that bizness. Steep driveways = misery. If you ever consider buying a house with a steep driveway, RUN. Ok sorry about that tangent, I am very passionate about this subject obvs.)
finally time for the boys to do some snoozing after all the heavy lifting was done
and for the girls to get busy in the kitchen! How’s that for stereotypes? HA!
Then we hit up this place to treat everyone for helping us. (btw we are in BIG trouble. Like huge. This place is within walking distance.)
Delish FTW. {BIG trouble}
Any nightmare moving stories? Tell me!!
How close is your yogurt place?

Foryo that close is totally big trouble! I love your house it looks so modern and cozy. I can’t wait to see the finished pictures.
Glad everything is going well with the move!
I’ve moved a lot in my life so I know how hard it can be sometimes. I hope you all have a great and blessed weekend!
My moving nightmare story:
I’ve moved to different states, overseas etc.
Once, we packed up a bunch of our things and shipped them ahead so we’d have them ready when we move to the new house (overseas) and they got lost and destroyed. So many things went missing.. haha it was not fun.
Another time we moved overseas, we sold everything except things that fit into almost 30 suitcases. We were walking through the airport with so many suitcases and it was crazy! Once we were on the plane, we were so relieved. But, two hours into the flight we had an emergency landing in Canada and had to wait there for almost a day. Plus, some of our luggage got lost.. Oh, the joys of moving!
Right now, we have to drive a good 20 minutes for our closest frozen yogurt shop. So sad, but I guess it’s good for my wallet haha. What did you get in your fro-yo mix??
that one was chocolate and strawberry yogurt with all my usual toppings. Strawberries, raspberries, pecans, dark chocolate chips and maybe some cookie dough bites if they have them. scrumdelish!
my only nightmare moving was when i moved to the dr… they lost my only 2 suitcases… for like a week!! so i had nothing there. ahh. i don’t even like to think of it. it was august and so hot! haha.
we have THREE fro-yos within very easy walking distance. it’s a little ridiculous.
ahhhh a week of missing suitcases!!! That is terrible!! THREE fro-yo’s!! That is INSANE!
our whole moving out of alaska thing was a pain basically if you havent read that secion on my blog already… the whole breaking down for 5 days was just lovely haha
and i feel ya on the dangerous too close froyo! its been bad since the place just opened here i spend 4 days a week there hahaha
oh boy, yeah 4 days a week. DANGEROUS!!
I love how many different names of froyo places there are! No matter what, they hit the spot though. What a good break from unpacking.
its so true! So many different names for the fro yo places!!
