Sharing the love…

by eatpraytri on May 11, 2012

Hello Friday. Nice to see you again.

Let’s share some love shall we?

I can’t really begin to describe how much I enjoy reading blogs. Blogging (reading and posting) is SO interesting to me, I can hardly get over it. It’s like this little world of people that you kind of know, but don’t really know them, so they almost seem like celebrities in a way.

Does that make any sense to other bloggers out there or am I just crazy?

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to share some of the awesomness that I read on a weekly basis. People who know me well know that when I like something I can sell it. Not that these blogs need to be “sold” but I just love them so much I want everyone else to know about these (some of them not so) little gems that I have discovered out on the interwebs. And I want you to love them too.

Sarah from Baking Serendipity

Sarah is simply amazing. Not only does she craft up delicious things in the kitchen but she is a fantastic writer. I don’t want to just look at all her pictures, I want to read every word she writes and smile along because I feel like I get it. She also has this “food related picture for every day of the year” thing goin on. I seriously learn something new every time I click on her page. I love learning.

And she has an awesome dog named Hunter. So there’s that.

Gina from Running to the Kitchen

Gina has a established flow to her posts that makes me green with envy (in a good way of course.) She talks about whatever she wants to talk about and interspersed she throws stunning visuals of ridiculously good looking food in your face. We are talking drool-worthy. And then she ties it all up so nicely at the end. Ugh. I could never be that effortlessly prescriptive.  So instead I just read and enjoy. She has made it super easy and quick to print out her recipes (and I know b/c I am always printing them out) and oh did I mention she is funny? Like awkwardly-laugh-at-your-desk-at-work funny.

And she has an awesome dog named Ginger. So there’s that.

Kristen from Not so domesticated

Kristen is my go to gal. I have asked her so many questions about blogging that she would be fantastically rich right now if she were charging me. She writes a great blog about her life, running, AMAZING crock pot recipes and the joys of living in a hotel room (temporarily). She is funny and lovely and she loves Jesus. If I ever go to Atlanta we will for sure be getting together and going to eat at Flip Burger!

Maren from Marens Morsels

I don’t remember if Maren found me or if I found her, but either way I am glad we found each other! She is 9 ways of hysterical. And I say that because those are the awesome things she says all the time. She loves her Jeep and she always posts pictures of salsa and sprouts to appease me. I can’t not (double negative whut!!) smile when I read her posts. Every. darn. time.

Lindsay from Lindsay’s List

I don’t really think Lindsay knows that I stalk her blog on a regular basis. She is by far one of the most inspiring bloggers I have come across yet. I really connect with her writing style. Maybe it’s because I also love lists? To top it all off she is passionate for Jesus, her husband, her kids and living a healthy lifestyle. She’s not afraid to speak her mind (in such an eloquent way) or show her awesome abs. She is funny, laid back and she isn’t afraid to talk about the beauty of married sex. A+ in my book.

Lindsay from In Sweetness and in Health

I’ve just recently really discovered Lindsay’s blog and I am finding its 100% a place I look forward to spending some time on during the day. She always shares great tips for working out and she isn’t afraid to talk about whatever it is that is on her mind. She is getting married soon (CONGRATS!) and I really look forward to all the great things she has to share about that and life in general in the future!

Lindsey at Happy or Hungry

(I sure do seem to like a lot of bloggers named Lindsa/ey!) Not only is Lindsey hysterically funny but she tells these crazy stories of just whatever happens in her life and illustrates them with her own pictures…that she draws herself. Brilliant! She is from Canada and she has an awesome grandma and my life is always better when I get to check out a new post from her!

Andrea from Andrea out Loud!

Andrea always greets my inbox with pleasure. She shares workout and recipes and funny stories about faking british accents. ELLO’ Govna!

And she has an awesome dog named Kona. So there’s that.

Nicole from Ricole Runs

Nicole is really the only other blogger I follow right now who is a fellow Seattle-ite! She is HYSTERICAL and and funny and sarcastic and funny. (yes I meant to put funny twice). She RUNS! A LOT! And she plays golf and tennis and trains for races like nobody’s business. I aspire to be as motivated and awesome as her someday.

And she has an awesome dog named Cooper. So there’s that.

Corrie Anne from Corrie Anne

Corrie Anne is just the cutest thing ever. She is also a workout beast! She runs and does all kinds of crazy things like WOD’s (I don’t even really know what that is, but shhhh don’t tell her) and she throws out some great recipes in the mix of it. She and her husband got married something like a week or two after Paul and I did and she puts as many pics of him in her blog as I do of Paul.

And she has an awesome dog named Boyd. So there’s that.

Brittany from Itty Bits of Balance

Oh Brittany. She is the one who started all of this blogging craziness for me. Cute as a button, awesome recipes, writes great thought-provoking content and is a new believer. Love her.

And she has an awesome dog named Popcorn. So there’s that.

I’m sensing a theme that I enjoy funny bloggers and bloggers with dogs?

This in no means is all the blogs I read. I read and stalk many more, but some of these ladies I feel like I have really connected with. Not only do I love checking out and spending time on their pages, but some of them even graciously visit my page and leave comments from time to time. I appreciate this more than you can imagine.

I know that all of us have different blogroll’s and have all found our own little “gems” out there on the internet, but I just couldn’t go another day without sharing mine. They will likely be read by me for a long as they continue to write. So ladies, thank you for making my world a brighter place these past few months! ;-)

Who are some of your favorites?

Do you read any of the above and what do YOU love about them?
