No, not my blogging anniversary…my actual anniversary. A year ago today Paul and I were walking down the aisle on pretty much the most rad (who says that anymore?) day of our lives.
To my husband…
Two years ago today I didn’t know you and one year ago today we pledged to live in covenant with each other and God for the rest of our lives.
You are undoubtedly the best husband, father, partner and friend a girl could ask for. This year has been fun, hard, stressful, joyful, frustrating and excruciatingly exciting. I praise God every day for giving you to me to enjoy life with. I look forward to waking up every morning next to you and falling asleep by your side every night.
Thank you for listening to me, challenging me, laughing with me and encouraging me.
The back rubs and foot rubs don’t hurt either. 
I love you. I cherish you. I respect you.
Here’s to a million more years!

nah I went with ceramic! HA! I got him a ceramic travel coffee mug. He had been looking for one. We did get each other cards though so I think that counts as paper right????
