Please keep the eye rolls to a minimum. You know you’d rather be “snack-a-lackin” rather than *yawn* “snacking”. Admit it.
Make sure you are wearing proper protective eye gear…and please keep your arms and legs in the vehicle at all times. Saftey first.
I obviously haven’t had any protein today.
Thanks Jenn for hosting the party!!
I think this week was pretty successful when it came to snacks. I was supposed to focus on more veggies and I don’t think I was too successful with that, but overall I think my snacks were sensible.
My beloved pretzel bun from Costco. How how I love you so. You fill me up and make me happy like no other bun I have encountered. I only snacked on
a couple this one this week.
A GINORMOUS watermelon made its way into our house (also thanks to Costco) and now I have a problem similar to Gina. Can’t fit this thing anywhere. So I guess its gonna have to fit in my stomach. Oh well.
Oh look! More stuff from Costco. (***sidenote…when we went to Costco on Saturday a lady approached us as we were checking out and told us that we were flagged as people would GREATLY benefit from an executive membership b/c we spend so much money there. I think we need an intervention)
Ok FINALLY something not from Costco. I got these bars from a “deal” website (not Groupon…I know I am a traitor) and they are actually really good. I’ve tried a couple of the different flavors and haven’t found one that I dislike yet. I sent some to my foodie pen pal this month as well so we will see what she thinks about them too!
Ok that’s not really a snack it was part of a dinner I made the other night, but isn’t it just so pretty? I could
lovingly stare at eat big bowls of sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onions all day.
ok sorry back to the snacks….my one splurge in the snack department….
That’s not exactly what my popcorn looked like, but you get the picture. Paul and I went to see Prometheus at the Cinerama and their popcorn is just so tasty. It tastes different from other movie theater popcorn which I’m for sure means its even worse than regular theater popcorn (if that’s even possible!) They also have chocolate popcorn and you can get a bag of just that or a bag of combo. I never get it b/c I think it would prob get on my nerves by the end of the bag. Regular suits me just fine.
My goals for next week are:
- To become a famous Costco spokesperson
- To eat as many pretzel buns as is humanly possible
Have you had pretzel buns? If not, why not?
Would you get a bag of chocolate popcorn?
Do you base the size of watermelon you purchase more on price or whether or not you have room for it in your fridge?
