Let’s see if I remember how to do this…..
I honestly hardly even know where to start. Its been just over two weeks since my last update and those two weeks have been pretty much the worst nightmare of my life. Well, not the full two weeks, but a lot of it. Ever since last Monday I feel like I have been living in a constant state of high level stress and even though we have arrived in our new city, it doesn’t necessarily mean the stress has automatically ended.
This is what I do know.
Everything that could have gone wrong with our move, has.
Well not everything. In hindsight it could have been much much MUCH worse. It just felt like everything was going wrong at the time. And now the aftermath of what went wrong is happening.
So basically, I’m a wreck. I’ve been doing my best to hold it together and think positive but it has been really, really REALLY hard. Luckily I have some good friends and a great husband who help me to keep this all in perspective.
I know this.
All of this will end soon enough. Normal will come again. Stress levels will decrease. My neck and jaw will stop hurting 100% of the time.
I know this.
Some good friends reminded me of this verse at exactly when I needed to hear it most- ”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9 (thanks again EB and DB)
I know this.
I have a LOT to talk about. Hope you are ready.
Oh and here’s a fun pic because, well….we need some fun around here.

Yeah most of my venting has been on my personal facebook. Didn’t even have time for much else. There will be lots more info about what happened in the very near future. I appreciate your prayers!!! hugs!

You are going to feel sooooo much better when you tell us all about it. It’ll be cathartic to get it all out. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. We’ll laugh, we’ll cry. Some tiny violins might play softly in the background.
Do it quick too, before we move across town, so I know what NOT to do.

Cathartic is exactly the right word. I think that has been part of my problem…not being able to write about it has been tough. I am looking forward to it. No crying. I’ve done enough of that already. And yes, many tiny violins.

Aw Cinnamon!!! I,m sorry its such a pain, if it makes you feel any better, I had a mental breakdown last summer during our big move when we got stranded in the middle of nowhere in a hotel room for 5 days. 3 days in i had a freak out. and im usually the one that holds it together and torrance is the one who cant handle stress. It was a crazy.
as weird as this sounds i cant wait to hear about it, but i hope you feel MUCH better soon!!! you are right. things will be normal and yuo will have a good story!!

that is for sure….absolutely a good story. In a weird way it does make me feel better to know I’m not alone in the club of “horrible moves”. Your move was pretty bad….and you turned out OK right?!
I am actually really excited to talk about it and get it all out!!!

Hey, Cinnamon! I’m sorry that you’re going through a tough time, hope things will get better soon. Great pic of Babe and the pups. Sorry I missed 23 Paws last month (I seemed to have missed a lot of blogging action the past couple of weeks, as well), but I’ll definitely show up to the next one.
