First some scenes from the past few days.

Thursday night this happened. Maybe she can provide a better defense than the current Steelers line?

Yesterday I made this for lunch (arrow is to point out Toby…he always blends in…)

This was staring at me the whole time I ate it. I swear we feed them, but they just keep looking at me like they haven’t eaten in months.

Later this happened.

Then Chloe aka…tiny little jerk…has decided on her “spot” outside and will NOT come in when I want her to.

 

So back to the title. Have I ever mentioned how great blogging is? There are many reasons, but by far the biggest best reason is free chocolate.

Let me tell you how this works.

You blog.

You read blogs.

Sometimes you “connect” with another blogger. Sense of humor, life interests etc…Then you become kind of “virtual” besties. Who says you can’t meet friends on the internet? I got a husband that way, why not friends too?

You see that your new blogger friend is frustrated that she can never find a spongy poof thing that has a string in an alternate color. You happen to see one at Bath and Body works one day. You send to blogger friend and hope she doesn’t’ think you are a crazy psycho.

She doesn’t think you are a crazy psycho, likes it and takes pictures of it on a tree and next to a watermelon. 

You see an awesome bowl on one of her posts and mention you have a bowl addiction. She says, “hey, I’ve got two…I’m gonna send you one” and then she says, “I’m gonna throw in some chocolate.”

You don’t argue.

She teases you on twitter

Then she teases you some more

Finally it arrives

*sidenote…I really needed a shower so it’s a good thing I had somewhere to go

Finally the time had come

Took it home, ripped it open

And man was it chock full of good stuff

Then, I decided in an ode to Joanna I needed to take some different pics….

I tried using a rock but the lighting and shadows was just screwing me up royally.

So I had to resort to the flat bush that is in the fake backyard of our fake house

That chocolate on top there? Demolished as soon as I was done taking pictures.
