23PAWS

One of my favorite things about reading blogs is seeing all the fun pictures and reading the fun stories of bloggers pets.

I think “pet” people share a bond that “non-pet” people can maybe appreciate, but don’t fully relate. I have lived with a pet for as long as I can remember, and honestly I can’t imagine my life without one. Dogs specifically for me (cats make my throat close, so can’t really have them around if I want to continue living) but no matter what the pet, we just know. They help make our lives better.

I thought a fun way for us “pet people” to bond and connect would be to have a sort of pet link up party. Similar to WIAW.

I’m calling it 23PAWS.

Why 23?

Purely selfish reasons. My birthday is on the 23rd of Feb. Guinness’s birthday is the 23rd of May. Chloe s birthday is the 23rd of November. We are a 23 kind of family.

PAWS = play.adore.wag.scratch.

Here’s how it will work:

• On the 23rd of each month we will all link up!
• I will post centered on my (or others…see below**) pets. I will provide a linkup option in the post.
• You grab my button (below), put it in your post and then blog about your pet(s). Funny story, lots of cute pics…whatever you want really! If you don’t have a pet but still want to join in, then blog about a friend or family members pet or a pet that you want but don’t have yet, or your favorite animal/pet…whatever really, just has to be pet related!
• Then come over to my post and link up!

This way we will have a party of sorts to see everyone’s pets and fun stories and pictures all in once place once a month!

Of course you can (and will I am sure) continue putting awesome pics and stories of your pets in your regular blog posts throughout the month (I know I will). This just gives us an opportunity once a month to have a party with our pets and celebrate the joy they bring to our lives!

**If you are not a blogger, but you are a reader and you would like me to feature some pictures and stories about your pets, send them to me and I will include them in my post for the month!! I want everyone to have the ability to share!
