Jesus lover. Wife. Stepmom. Petmom. Professional. Wanna-be athlete (runner, biker, swimmer). Healthy eater? (trying)

What I do:
Currently I work in the land of Human Resources.

My passion and future goals center on teaching, writing and speaking. We’ll get there. All in God’s time.

Why I blog:

I want to help hold myself accountable. I want to make people laugh. I want my mom and dad (and friends) to see my life from thousands of miles away. I want to contribute rather than only consume. I want to connect. I want to learn and teach and be used for God’s purpose. I feel this is a part of that.

What makes me “me” (things I adore):

Laughter, maps, the smell of coffee, slinkys, melted cheese, seeing passion for life in people’s eyes and actions, answered prayer whether it be yes, no or wait, checking something off a list, sarcasm, puppy breath, listening and asking questions, confidence, explaining a concept to someone and knowing that they “get it”, fresh sheets, bowls, making my husband laugh, doodling, laughing so hard you cry, learning, big cities, road trips, technology, relaxing tension with humor, a puppy cuddled against me, sweating, dark chocolate, organization and making lists (could you tell?)
