I wanted everyone to benefit from my hours of researching and reading! ;-) To answer your question, TRY to use manual mode if you feel comfortable. I want to get as many pictures submitted with settings as possible. I found that looking at others pictures and what their settings were helped me figure out how all of these things work together (and still does). If you don’t feel comfortable with it yet, then Auto is fine too!
